Sailing has been a defining part of Melike’s life since her childhood, beginning with Optimist dinghies and continuing for over 20 years. She is also an international sailing race officer alongside her professional career. With her love for the sea, extensive tourism experience, and warm hospitality, she plays a key role in creating unforgettable blue cruise experiences for her guests.
Deniz Cevik
Raised with a lifelong connection to the sea, Deniz Çevik carries forward over 50 years of distinguished maritime heritage, proudly continuing his family legacy through Gulet Sailing Turkey. From his base in Marmaris, he welcomes guests aboard a refined fleet led by the elegant wooden gulet Derin Deniz, offering bespoke blue cruises that embody both luxury and comfort across the breathtaking bays of the Aegean and Mediterranean. Beyond his professional endeavors, Deniz is a passionate yachtsman and serves as Vice Commodore of the Marmaris International Yacht Club, where he plays an active role in the international sailing community. His vision is to deliver an exclusive and unforgettable yachting experience, defined by excellence, sophistication, and warm hospitality.
Captain Ahmet Cevik
Captain Ahmet Cevik – A Four-Generation Maritime Legacy
My journey at sea is part of a story that spans four generations. It began in 1965 with my grandfather, continued with my father, and today lives on with me, Ahmet Çevik, and my son, Deniz Çevik. What started as a family passion has grown into a lifelong commitment to the maritime world.
Over the years, we have continuously renewed and expanded our fleet, always aiming to offer better comfort and higher standards. Today, I proudly operate our gulet Derin Deniz together with my son, Deniz, combining experience with a new generation’s vision.
Our guiding principle has always been clear: guest-focused service with genuine care and professionalism. Having spent my entire life at sea, captaining is not just a profession for me — it is a way of life. I take great pleasure in sharing the knowledge, skills, and experiences I have gained throughout my years as a captain.
Sharing my deep understanding of seamanship, the Aegean coastline, and yacht management through Gulet Sailing Turkey is both an honor and a true source of happiness for me.
Atilla Arman
With 38 years of experience in the tourism sector and 26 years of managing my own travel agency, I have been deeply involved in every aspect of travel operations and destination services. Throughout this time, I have managed and developed Arbektravel.com, Transferonly.com, and Tiptoptrips.com under the umbrella of Arbek Travel Travel Agency.
My professional background includes obtaining the Information and Responsible Manager Certificate in 1986, followed by the Professional Tourist Guide License in 1991. I later gained extensive experience through long-term tour operator representation, and in 1999, I founded Arbek Travel Travel Agency, which continues to operate successfully today.
Since 2001, I have continuously served on the Marmaris Regional Representative Board of the Turkish Travel Agencies Association (TÜRSAB), actively contributing to the development and standards of the regional tourism industry.
